MARIJUS JACOVSKIS

„One word whispered...One word heard... That’s all. Nothing left. Love is powerless..“

VIDA SIMANAVIČIUTĖ AND ALEKSANDRAS POGREBNOJUS

„How to clothe angry thoughts and despair? What forms should be given to jealousy and innocence? Desires accompany people since the times of Shakespeare and turn them into villains and victims...”

ANŽELIKA CHOLINA

"My dance performance “Othello” is about destructing poison of jealousy created by the bad man’s will. Thousands love stories could be saved if people understood that jealousy is a power of self destruction. One word, just one word and nothing is important anymore, and love looses all its power and strength...”

Show

The strength of A. Cholina’s “Othello” is the perfect balance between the solo parts and the mass scenes. The performance is classical and very emotional. The well-known story of love and jealousy unveils fluently with the help of music, unique choreography, strong solo parts, great duets and rich mass scenes. The emotional tension is strong enough to keep spectators eyes wide open for the culmination.
